Confidence towards God

1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

Welcome friend to my world, a place where we swim daily in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and enveloped by the love of our Father God as we fellowship by the Holy Spirit. I am well assured of this very thing that He that began the good work in you shall surely bring it to fruition as we continually realize every good thing that is readily available for us in Christ Jesus.

My heart bleeds many times for many that have not been taught the word of righteousness, some that have been taught wrongly and those who have never taken time to study the scriptures for themselves so live by hearsay. However , I am grateful to God that truth has already won. The reason for many religions and cults around the world is in search of fellowship with God. This great scramble for God arises from many factors but the highest factor being a sense of inadequacy, unworthiness, a deep feeling of guilt and sin consciousness. However, Jesus Christ made the answer clear that no man can access the Father (God, the creator of heaven and earth) by any other means but through Him. (John 14:6) Why is this so?

The reason being God is righteous and totally holy that He cannot be approached by someone that has any sin. Now , when I say sin, many will think actions which are wrong but actions are only a result of a nature that is in a man. Look at this interesting scripture; Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.. This is absolutely clear that many were called sinners, not because they had done wrong but because one man, Adam disobeyed God so this sin was thus imputed upon man. If this is true, and it is true; this means that no good actions could a man do to take him out of this state of sin.

Now , the gospel is this good news that Jesus Christ came glory to God. Let's fix our eyes on this beautiful scripture; Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. What a great message the whole world should receive and thank God you and me have the opportunity to share this with everybody we come across. Jesus Christ is that man who obeyed and His obedience brought unto us righteousness. Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. So it is the obedience of Jesus that made us who believed in Him as Lord of our life righteous apart from our works.

This is the moment sin was destroyed in the body of His death.Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. That word condemned means subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice. This calls for a shout, sin has been defeated! Sin has lost dominion, death no more has mastery over us, life has come, man has become the righteousness of God in Christ, there is no more judgement for him. Man can now approach God boldly just as Jesus Himself would do. Can you read this with me; Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have peace with God, He is not angry at us, He is happy about us, His arms are open for us, oh what a story of the man that has obtained righteousness by faith in Jesus!! This is a call to fellowship with Father God Himself. So why do we feel guilty sometimes?

Our opening scripture answers that question. Some have said it is the Holy Spirit , no , a thousand times no. How can He convict a righteous man, He can only witness that you are now a child of God meaning you have the nature of righteousness. It is your heart condemning you because you have not been rightly taught about righteousness. But God is greater than our heart glory to His name forever!!So if we fix our hearts by accepting the gift of righteousness, we have confidence with God and when we do , whatsoever we ask of Him, we receive!! Whatsoever we ask of Him, we receive!! You can ask your Father anything today and when you ask, receive it because He has given it to you. Be confident towards God.

Always a joy sharing with you, see you again next time. Keep on reading, keep on letting me know your thoughts and keep on sharing with your world. Much love.
